By Adli Al-Baraqouni - Humanitarian Voice - 2012-04-10

The Bahraini delegation arriving to Gaza Strip yesterday

The delegation of The Royal Bahraini Charitable Institution presided by its general secretary Dr. Mustafa Al-Sa’ed arrived yesterday to Gaza Strip to preview the projects that were established by the institution in the coastal enclave.

The Bahraini projects in Gaza included the inauguration of a public Library at Al-Fakhoura school, and to identify work progress in the Bahrain Hospital , as the cost of the total Bahraini projects in Gaza reached 5 million dollars.

Dr.Mustafa, affirmed during his arrival to Gaza that the Bahraini charity , upon instructions from the Bahraini Monarch King Hamad has implemented a number of projects to the benefit of Gaza inhabitants, like the Baharin Hospital worth of 3 million dollars.

He also revealed the intent of the institution to implement more projects in Gaza , upon orders and directions of the Bahraini political command.

Dr. Mustafa , meanwhile, talked about Gaza inhabitants who have highly appreciated the Bahraini King’s efforts , and the role played by the institution in conducting such projects to support Gaza.

He pointed that the Bahraini people had always sided with the Palestinian people, and his first cause, adding that the Bahraini solidarity campaigns have always reflected the strong ties between the two brethren peoples.

The Bahraini delegation, of 15 persons, has entered Gaza yesterday via Rafah crossing at the Egyptian borders with Gaza, and it included a number of journalists, and some officials from Bahrain Embassy in Egypt.

The delegation is expected to visit this morning a number of Gaza areas to have an overview on the projects of the institution and identify the humanitarian situation in general.
