The organizers of the humanitarian aid campaign of “ Miles of Smiles “ have announced that preparations for launching the aid convoy “Miles of Smiles 10” to Gaza Strip under the ongoing criminal siege, were completed.

Dr. Issam Mustafa , the general coordinator , of the aid campaign said, in a press release, that the convoy is slated to kick off this month, and that it would be allocated for solidarity women supporting the Palestinian cause, in general, and Gaza Strip, in particular.

He added that about 20 Jordanian women are expected to participate in this convoy, under the slogan of “ We are coming back to Al-Quds”, noting that it would also witness the participation of women from other Arab and Islamic countries with the aim of supporting the Palestinian woman, especially in Gaza, for her significant steadfastness and great sacrifices.

Dr. Mustafa revealed the start of preparing for two more new convoys salted to be launched during the next coming months, noting that the convoy of the next month would be for the youth of the age category 15-20 from South Africa.

He explained that the idea is that those youth , from South Africa, would symbolically contribute in the development of coastal enclave.

He also said that the convoy of May would be allocated for leaders from various Arab and Islamic countries, noting that he would try to convince western leaders to participate in that convoy.

He stressed that the aim of these visits is to raise the moral of Gaza inhabitants , and remove the psychological factor that they are alone, and they are isolated from the outside world.

Dr. Mustafa added that “Our visits to Gaza are not for picnicking but rather for economic, political, informational, and relief purposes in addition to documenting Israeli crimes against Gaza,”
