A convoy of Tunisian Scouts heading to Gaza on Friday

The humanitarian Convoy of Free People is slated to kick off today from International Airport Tunis Carthage heading to Gaza Strip, and laden with four tons of medicine and medical equipment direly needed to the besieged coastal enclave.

An official Tunisian media source said that the convoy , organized by Tunisian Scouts and represented by the team of Muhammad Balhama ( From Gabes ) would reach Cairo today , and would head to Gaza on Friday 23-12 through Rafah crossing, where it would be received by the Palestinian Red Crescent and the Scouts and Girl Guides Association.

The Tunisian delegation of eleven persons within the framework of scouts activity would visit Gaza hospitals , some social societies, and UNRWA offices in besieged Gaza, in addition to getting acquainted of the scouts activity in Gaza Strip , and organizing some lectures for the Palestinian youth.

The convoys program also includes the delivery of relief material from the Tunisian Scouts to the Palestinian Scouts that consists of some reference books , scouts medals ,and the signature of partnership and cooperation agreement between Muhammad Balhama Regiment and Al-Quds Regiment in Gaza.
