The head of the Jordanian delegation participating in the Aid convoy “Miles of Smiles 7”, Engineer Murad Al-Adailah said that the participation of the Jordanian delegation in the convoy came to reflect the state of “ sharing the concern in one body”.
Eng.Adailah expressed his great pleasure to participate in this convoy describing it as bridging the gap with a people that highlighted the road for the Arab spring and shouldered the responsibility of defending the Arab.
The Jordanian delegation left yesterday night, to join the rest of participating delegations of the aid convoy “Miles of smiles 7” who came from various parts of the world.
The Jordanian delegation consisted of 32 persons , including the Yarmouk singing band, which is expected to organize a series of events while celebrating the Eid Al-Adha with Gaza children and people, eng.Adailah added.
The Yarmouk band will also participate in some celebrations to mark the release of the Palestinian prisoners and their return to their families in Gaza Strip, while the Jordanian delegation intends to participate in slaughtering sacrificial sheep and distributing their meat to the poor and the disadvantaged.
Al-Adailah, pointed that the Jordanian delegation would also meet with the Palestinian officials in Gaza, and visit a number of the projects that are financed by Jordan, in addition to visiting the Jordanian military hospital, and a number of Gaza charities.
Al-Adailah stressed that the participation of the Jordanian delegations aimed at expressing “ our full solidarity with our people who taught the world’s community the meaning of dignity and magnanimity, and proved their steadfastness while facing the oppressive Israeli siege since years”.
