Qatar Charity has succeeded in enabling some 100 poor families in the occupied Palestinian territories to financially support themselves by financing small income-generating projects in association with partners in joint developmental program.
The program is in harmony with the orientations of the Charity to give a new start for projects in Palestine. Qatar Charity focuses on the development dimension and seeks to gain access to make the most noticeable impact on the beneficiaries.
Mr. Ramadan ‘Assi, the Charity’s Office director in Palestine, said: “The project is a joint effort between QC, the Islamic Development Bank and the UN Development Program (UNDP).It aims at improving the lives of 440 impoverished families in al-Khalil and Bethlehem, through economic empowerment and social security.
