Tens of Jewish settlers stormed the yards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque
humanityvoice - 2010-03-31

Israeli police around the Al-Aqsa compound

Tens of Jewish settlers stormed the yards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday with intensified protection on the part of Israeli occupation policemen.

Eyewitnesses reported that the Jewish fanatics entered through a number of gates into the holy compound, adding that tension is rising high in the city as a result.

They said that groups of fanatic Jews are preparing for Jewish Passover celebrations in front of Al-Khalil gate in the Old City of Jerusalem.

In a related issue, The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have barred farmers in Aisawiya town in occupied Jerusalem from reaching their farmlands in a bid to expropriate them later.

Hani Al-Aisawi, a member of the defense of land committee in the village, said in a press statement on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) had pursued the same method before and confiscated a chunk of their land to establish the so-called E1 settlement project in which the IOA is planning to build 4,000 housing units that would serve as a liaison between occupied Jerusalem and the settlement of Ma'aleh Adumim.

He noted that the Israeli higher court had allowed the farmers to access their lands but the IOF troops disregarded the ruling.
